Muir Mystics

The Mystics program is a collaborative effort between Lineage Performing Arts Center and John Muir High School. The Mystics program launched in Fall 2022, and consists of free dance classes, high quality performing opportunities, and professional development workshops for students grades 9-12.
Students meet after school at Muir for free dance instruction per week with Lineage Teaching Artists, take masterclasses with local guest artists, and hold public performances at nearby community events.
This is Lineage's first Creative Youth Development program, in residence at John Muir High School. Our work there is funded in part by grants from the California Arts Council.

Past Performances
In fall of 2023, the Mystics were invited to perform for the halftime show at the Rose Bowl for the annual Turkey Tussle game between Muir and Pasadena High School. Check it out below!
